Time is money in finance; a disaster occurring during an audit/year-end/self-assessment will be unable to wait. Please advise us of your deadline upon initial contact, and we will prioritise the project and provide a reasonable estimate for completion prior to commencement. Most recoveries are performed within 3 to 4 working days. You will be speaking with your engineer directly (not a customer service representative), and not via a call centre. Established accounts may also receive net terms for 30 days on invoices/purchase orders.

There are two ways to deliver your drives to us: either drop them off in person or post them in with sufficient insurance coverage. After receiving your drives, we will notify you of what can be recovered from each one.

To get started with recovering your data, first get your device to us. Wrap it securely, write your contact details on a slip of paper inside the package, include a brief description of what happened and post it to us. After running a complimentary diagnostic we will write to you confirming the exact price prior to starting work.
Do you want to post the device to us? We highly recommend using a trackable postal service with insurance. Would you prefer to deliver it yourself? That’s fine too. Yes. As standard practice for financial clients, all work performed is under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) without additional charge. All our engineering services are completed in-house, and we are ICO-registered and GDPR compliant; therefore your data remains within the United Kingdom at all times.
In general, yes. Data recovered from failed internal hard drives includes data from various accounting programs such as Sage, QuickBooks, Xero and also includes client information and their respective ledgers that are usually stored near the account file.
Yes. Finance-related deadline-based work will be given priority and a reasonable turnaround time will be provided up front. Typically, most data recoveries take approximately 3 to 4 working days to complete.
Yes. We can create a documented chain of custody for you which provides a record of the receipt, handling and return of your data. This document would be suitable for auditing purposes, compliance and/or insurance requirements.
Yes. We can invoice your business and accept purchase orders; for established accounts, payment terms are 30 days. A 50% deposit will be requested for physical and forensic recoveries to cover parts and labour costs prior to commencing the recovery process, with the balance due on successful recovery.
The price of recovering your data is dependent on the type of system involved; single drive recoveries are £300 + VAT, RAID/NAS systems start at £500 + VAT and database recoveries also begin at £500 + VAT. Each of these prices follows the initial complimentary diagnostic service and written quote. In most cases you only pay if we recover your data.
