Recovering from malware involves simply never running the malware. We create an exact duplicate of your machine while it is isolated, extract your files from that copy, and then sanitise/return your files, safely, in the correct order.
The first step is for you to tell us about the damage which was caused to your information as a result of the malware. The second step involves creating a digital forensic image of your computer. The image is then worked on in a completely separate environment from your computer so there is no possibility of the malware running and/or spreading.
In the third step, the images are used to recover your files. This includes restoring any deleted files and un-hiding any files that were previously hidden due to being directed via a “shortcut” (virus).
If the virus has damaged either the file system or any specific files such that they cannot be accessed, those damaged areas/file(s) are rebuilt/repaired in order to allow you to use them again.
