Often, yes; however, please do not turn it on or use a hair dryer or other heat to attempt to dry it as this may further damage your hard drive. Please get it to our data recovery facility and one of our engineers will assess it for data recovery. We regularly recover drives which have encountered either sand or water as long as the drives were not powered up whilst wet.
